AEROBIC TREATMENT HIGH EFFLUENT QUALITY   |   CARROUSEL® OXIDATION DITCH

HOW IT WORKS

The Carrousel System is an easy-to-operate Biological Treatment System capable of meeting stringent direct discharge effluent requirements for BOD and nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus). The process has minimal equipment requirements with built-in redundancy. All maintenance is from a clean concrete platform minimizing operational downtime.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

  • Suitable for wastewater with influent BOD (biochemical oxygen demand 500 – 10,000+ mg/L)
  • Suitable for 50,000 – 5,000,000 gallons per day of wastewater, depending on influent strength.
  • Effluent BOD (biochemical oxygen demand) as low as 10 mg/L, depending on influent composition
  • Effluent TN (total nitrogen) as low as 5-10 mg/L depending on influent composition.
  • Effluent TP (total phosphorus) as low as 1-5 mg/L, depending on influent composition.
